Mechan Scoops Prestigious Sme Award At Made In Sheffield 2015

We have received official recognition for our innovation and investment in new technologies by business leaders in the Sheffield city region.

Mechan won the SME category at last night’s Made in Sheffield Awards, which was held at the city’s historic Cutlers Hall. The event, hosted by Channel 4 News anchor, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and the Master Cutler, David Grey, is a celebration of local manufacturing excellence and it was an honour to be recognised alongside some of the area’s top performing businesses, many of whom are world leaders in their respective fields.

In addition to securing the SME prize, we were one of only four firms shortlisted for the headline Made in Sheffield award. This is a fantastic achievement for us and reflects the hard work and commitment shown by our entire team, whose efforts produce such excellent products and levels of customer service.
