We have been named the top investor in people at the 2016 Made in Sheffield Awards! This is the second consecutive year we have emerged victorious, after bagging the SME title just 12 months ago.
We have secured a contract worth more than £1 million to supply depot maintenance products to the capital’s Crossrail project. The order comprises a range of heavy lifting equipment for the new Old Oak Common depot in north west London, which will be servicing trains run on the Elizabeth line.
Our lifting jacks are helping to keep the government’s plans to electrify the Great Western Line on track. Eight 25-tonne jacks have been installed at a new £7 million facility near Swindon, built to service a unique train carrying out the Intercity Express Programme (IEP) upgrades.
