Rail congress proves perfect platform

We are joining a select group of exhibitors at a global gathering of train operating companies in London next month.

Mechan will be among the rail suppliers showcasing products at this year’s Rolling Stock Fleet Maintenance Cost Reduction Congress.

Held at the Holiday Inn, Regents Park on December 9 and 10, the conference attracts industry decision makers from as far afield as Japan, Italy and Morocco. It will focus on improving fleet reliability and availability by refining maintenance methods and safety at reduced cost.

Sales engineers, Lee Pitts and Adam Elliot, will be demonstrating how we are developing handling equipment that meets demand for faster maintenance times, without compromising safety. They will also introduce congress delegates to the European innovations we represent, including the handheld laser measuring device, CALIPRI .

Mechan will be joined on our stand by Jeser Zalba of Visiona. The Visiona WheelPro system offers laser measurement of wheels as the vehicle passes over the system, and can be installed inside or outside the depot buildings.
