We’ve only gone and done the double!

We’re thrilled to find out Mechan is one of five finalists in the ‘subcontractor of the year – small’ category at the UK Rail Industry Awards (UKRIA) 2016, while our esteemed leader, Richard Carr, is nominated for Sheffield Business Awards’ business person of the year.

Richard is one of only four finalists in his category, all of whom have made a significant contribution to the success of their business and the wider community. The winner will be announced on December 3 at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, at one of the most anticipated awards events in the local calendar.

The annual UKRIA competition celebrates innovation and recognises the organisations, people and projects that make an outstanding contribution to the future of the rail sector. Winners are selected by a panel of experts from across the industry and will be revealed on February 11 at special ceremony, held at Battersea Evolution in London.
